- In this role the Demand Planner's responsibility is to develop strong statistical models and processes that support development of divisional demand plans executing an Integrated Business Planning process with finance, purchasing, production and deployment of product._
- Responsibilities_
- _Understand variability of product categories and develops robust set of corresponding statistical models_
- _Develops statistical processes to support development of long range plans_
- _Develop demand plans at the division, product, and location level_
- _Conducts trend analyses and facilitates discussions with marketing and sales to drive consensus_
- _Facilitates demand review and consensus meetings and supports development of Sales and Operations Planning decks_
- _Utilizes accuracy and bias results to improve site level forecasts_
- _Analyzes and reviews the divisional demand plans with Finance, Marketing and Sales_
- _Ensures demand alignment with long term strategic plans_
- _Provide optimization of costs and service in support of company profitability plans._
- _Strong knowledge of demand planning process and S&OP_
- _Should have functional experience in forecasting tools & statistical forecasting techniques_
- _Strong Supply Chain analytical capabilities with skills in Demand Forecasting and Inventory Planning_
- _Good statistical knowledge_
- _Development of demand planning response to customer / product segmentation to maintain and/or improve forecast accuracy_
- _Demand Sensing_
- _Add impacts of seasonal and LTO (limited time offer) demand to the forecast based on the inputs received from the business_
- _Experience in managing end of life cycle and absolute inventory_
- _Excellent verbal and written communication_
- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum Qualifications_
- _Bachelor’s or master’s degree in degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management or related field, with 3+ years of statistical forecasting and supply chain experience SAP or other ERP/APS software experience_
- _Effective interpersonal and verbal/oral skills_
- _Self-starter with independent work ethic and react quickly to priorities._
- _2+- 8 years (per job grade) experience in Demand Planning_
- _Professional certification preferred. (e.g., APICS)_
- _Knowledge of any of the ERP & Planning systems Blue Yonder._
- _Statistical Forecasting and Model development_
- _Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution and customer service_
- _Strong written, interpersonal and presentation skills_
- _Knowledge of Sales and Marketing functions preferred_
- _Experience in Integrated Business Planning_
- _Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint (Access preferred) and advanced proficiency in Excel required_
- _Strong Administrative skills and attention to detail_
- _SAP or related systems experience preferred_
- _Experience with advanced ERP planning systems (BW, SAP, APO) preferred_
- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills_
- _Supply Chain related experience in Demand Planning, preferably in CPG/Consumer goods company_
- _Knowledge of Analytical tools like Power BI, Tableau_
