Looking Foras400 Trainer Part Time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced AS/400 Trainer to join our team on a part-time basis.

As an AS/400 Trainer, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive training sessions to individuals or groups interested in learning about IBM AS/400 systems, also known as IBM iSeries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, develop, and deliver training sessions on IBM AS/400 systems, covering topics such as system architecture, programming languages (e.g., RPG, CL), database management (DB2), and system administration.
- Customize training content to meet the specific needs and skill levels of participants, ensuring that material is relevant, engaging, and aligned with industry standards.
- Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, exercises, and hands-on activities, to facilitate effective learning experiences for participants.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using IBM AS/400 systems and related software tools, and effectively teach participants how to navigate the system interface, write programs, manage databases, and perform system administration tasks.
- Provide guidance and support to participants as they work through exercises and projects, offering assistance and feedback to enhance their understanding and proficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in IBM AS/400 technology, incorporating new features and enhancements into training curriculum as appropriate.
- Assess participant learning outcomes through quizzes, exams, and hands-on assignments, and provide constructive feedback to support their skill development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among participants.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant attendance, and feedback to track progress and evaluate training effectiveness.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in IBM AS/400 systems and related technologies, with a strong understanding of system architecture, programming languages, and database management concepts.
- Prior experience delivering technical training or instruction, preferably in a classroom or workshop setting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with participants from different backgrounds and skill levels.
- Availability to teach classes on a part-time basis, including evenings or weekends as needed.
- Passion for education and a commitment to helping others succeed in their learning goals.
- Familiarity with other IBM iSeries technologies and tools, such as RPG IV, CL programming, and DB2 database administration, is desirable but not required.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry developments and pursue professional development opportunities to enhance training effectiveness.
- Ability to travel to different locations to conduct training sessions, if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

- IBM Certified Specialist - AS/400 Professional certification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with legacy systems migration and modernization strategies for IBM AS/400 environments.
- Knowledge of AS/400 integration with other technologies, such as web services, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Experience working in industries that heavily rely on AS/400 systems, such as finance, manufacturing, or healthcare.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
