**Position Summary**:
This role will be responsible to process and lead Payroll operations for all the legal entities of Johnson Controls India. Partners closely with all the stakeholders such as HR and Finance to deliver world class payroll service.

Coordination with external vendor of Payroll and leave management system to ensure timely and accurate payroll is processed and also employees leave balances are maintained accurately on leave module.

Attending employee’s queries in regards with Payroll and leave and ensuring closure of queries within agreed TAT.

Ensuring all the statutory deduction are deposited with respective Govt. departments as per due dates.
- Collecting and sharing all the payroll inputs with external payroll vendor.
- Ensuring payroll vendor has processed the salary with 100% accuracy and followed JCI guidelines.
- Reconciling all payroll outputs with inputs, CTC, tax breakup, bank accounts etc. to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Closing monthly payroll within agreed TAT and ensuring salary is released as scheduled.
- Sharing all the accounting entries/GL files with finance team with 100% accuracy within agreed TAT.
- Ensuring all the statutory reports are shared with compliance team on time.
- Handling payroll and leave balance audits.
- Ensuring employees leave balance are correctly captured in leave module.
- Attending employees queries and ensuring resolution as per TAT.

**Job Specification**:

- Proficient in precise payroll processing, compliance mastery, financial reporting, accurate and efficient reconciliation acumen.
- Must have knowledge of payroll software, understanding of automated payroll systems, and staying current with the latest digital tools are imperative.
- Sound understanding of data encryption for security, integration of payroll systems.
- Must have an in-depth understanding of state and central statutory regulations in regards with necessary statutory deductions.
- Should be able to manage a team of 1-2 people to ensure payroll deliverables are met on time
- Must be able to review, analyze, and reconcile payroll data with precision.
- Masters in Human Resources with around 12-15 years of experience in Payroll processing related domain
