**Preferred Exposure***: Suspension / steering / brake system design for 2wh/4wh**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Responsible for design & development of chassis components like handle bar / suspension linkages / hydraulic & mechanical brake/steering system**Address DFM/DFA/DFS aspects in design**Understand field & internal testing failure phenomenon, analyze & provide countermeasures**Evaluate 3D packages, clearances with interfacing parts, conduct stack up analysis.**Check 2D drawings & incorporate GD&T parameters**Conduct FE analysis & interpret results for design decisions**Co-ordination with CAE, Testing, materials, manufacturing, service, vendor teams**Develop new chassis system concepts, evaluate advantages**Suggest & execute VA/VE ideas**

Technical/Functional requirement:**Basic design knowledge of any one vehicle chassis system viz., suspension, brakes, steering, handle bar system.**Knowledge of CAD modelling, PLM tools. Hands on experience on UG-NX, Team center will be added advantage**Knowledge of stress analysis viz., Ansys, Hypermesh & MBD tools viz., Adams will be added advantage.**Well versed with design calculations, performance predictions, math model building**Exposure to manufacturing process like forging, Aluminium PDC/GDC, Press & fabrication, etc.**
