Title: Patient Care Assistant

Location: Saravanampatti, Coimbatore

**Salary**: 10k to 15k per month

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to ensure their safety.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
- Assist with feeding and provide nutritional support as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications under the supervision and guidance of registered nurses or healthcare providers.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, ensuring comfort and infection control.
- Assist in turning and repositioning bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, engaging in conversations and actively listening to their concerns.
- Report any changes in patients' condition or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Adhere to all healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Patient Care Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or completion of a recognized patient care assistant training program is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, pushing, and assisting with patient mobility.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
