**Main responsibilities***:

- The Instructor shall ensure that the Remote Pilot Training is conducted as per the syllabus and in compliance with the Accepted/Approved TPM.
- To ensure UAS operations are conducted in accordance with the extant Acts, Rules, Circulars and Guidelines.
- Shall be responsible for the conduct of the examination and testing for competency of trainee in theoretical knowledge, lab training session, simulator session, practical flying session.
- Instructors shall notify DGCA regarding change of his/her RPTO within 7 working days
- Should respect & protect the Intellectual proprietary rights of the organization and Confidentiality

**Main activities***:

- Delivering Remote Pilot Training and Train the trainer (TTT) course.
- Teaches and assesses the Students in all theoretical and practical aspects.
- Ensure upkeeping Students Training Reports as per the regulation.
- Conduct duties as defined in the approved RPTO TPM, ensuring procedures and processes as defined, within the scheduled timelines
- Shall Comply with the regulatory requirements within his/her scope as well the roles and responsibilities
- Ensure that examinations are conducted in compliance and Drone regulations
- Ensure the security of the examination questions and maintain strict confidentiality and standards of an Instructor /Examiner.
- Ensure that the information provided to the trainee is correct and corresponds with the approved course, using the approved material and means
- Keep abreast of the Drone rules/regulations, syllabus and latest technical developments.
- Shall undergo updating training as required and regulation to maintain the instructor qualification & competency
- Write examination questions, checks and validates as required
- Coordination with Planning/Scheduling team for Drone Training courses
- Courseware development as per the Syllabus
- In case of absence of Maintenance staff, Instructor shall act as backup
- Reports to the Head of Training and carry out other duties as directed.

**Qualifications/ Skills***:

- Shall have successfully undergone DGCA approved Train the Trainer program on appropriate category and class of RPA.
- DGCA approved **Master Trainer.**:

- Past Teaching experience will be an added advantage
- Preferably from an aviation background
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral, writing & presentations)
- The person shall be a Certified RPAS Trainer as per the DGCA Certified RPAS trainer list published on the DSP Website (dgca.nic.in)
