Fire & Safety Officer

**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

2. Conduct regular safety inspections of the plant facility to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.

3. Train employees on fire prevention, emergency response, and evacuation procedures.

4. Maintain and inspect fire detection and suppression systems to ensure they are in proper working condition.

5. Coordinate with local fire departments and emergency services to develop and implement emergency response plans.

6. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

7. Keep abreast of changes in safety regulations and industry best practices and update policies and procedures accordingly.

8. Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

9. Prepare and maintain documentation related to safety inspections, training, and incident reports.

10. Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries and concerns from employees and management.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Science, or a related field.

2. Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.

3. Proven experience working as a fire and safety officer in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

4. Thorough understanding of fire safety codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NFPA, OSHA).

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety procedures.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
