1. **Operation and Monitoring**:

- Supervise daily operations of the gas manifold room and ensure continuous supply of medical gases (Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide, Medical Air, Vacuum, etc.).
- Maintain optimal pressure and levels in manifold systems and cylinders.
- Monitor automatic changeover systems and ensure timely replacement of empty cylinders.

2. **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure that the medical gas pipeline system (MGPS) complies with NABH guidelines, PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation) regulations, and applicable safety norms.
- Implement and monitor fire safety precautions in the manifold room.
- Maintain signage, access control, and no-smoking policy in the manifold area.

3. **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain daily logs of gas pressure, cylinder stock, consumption, and supply.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance, calibration, safety checks, and third-party inspections.
- Keep up-to-date Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all gases.

4. **Inventory and Coordination**:

- Monitor and maintain stock levels of all medical gas cylinders and initiate timely procurement.
- Coordinate with gas suppliers for timely delivery and replacement of cylinders.
- Ensure that only approved suppliers are used as per hospital policy and NABH requirements.

5. **Maintenance and Inspection**:

- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of gas manifold equipment, alarm systems, valves, and regulators.
- Identify faults or leakages and take immediate corrective action.
- Coordinate with biomedical/engineering team for repair and servicing.

6. **Training and Supervision**:

- Train and supervise manifold technicians and support staff.
- Conduct regular fire and safety drills in collaboration with safety officers.
- Ensure staff are aware of emergency procedures in case of leakage or fire.

7. **Emergency Management**:

- Ensure readiness for emergency situations (power failure, cylinder shortage, equipment failure).
- Maintain backup systems (e.g., D-type cylinders) as per NABH norms.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in handling medical gas pipeline systems in a hospital setting.
- Knowledge of NABH and other relevant safety guidelines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
