ob Description:Job Title: Legal Advisor
- Real Estate - Mumbai

To assist Sr. Consultant in implementing the operational legal frameworks for the real estate business of the Organization.

Job Responsibility

A. Key Activities (Critical activities of the job)

1. Carry out legal research and analysis, thereby identifying important issues and apprising the
Organization of emerging legal trends from the court’s decision.
2. Implement all the associated documentation work for preparation of Title Certificate for the property/project.
3. Draft and/or review legal letters, contracts and agreements and monitor legal obligations to
ensure compliance.
4. Assist in policy identification, ensure legal and regulatory compliance is met with so that risk
is minimized and managed.
5. Seek guidance from Sr. Legal Consultant before commencing/initiating any work received
from internal departments of the Organization.
6. Appear in courts to initiate and pursue legal proceedings in civil/criminal cases both “for and
against” the Organization.
7. Liaise with and assist external counsel to pursue civil/criminal matters of the Organization.
8. Maintain database of the status of all court matters involving the Organization.
9. Process various Fee Bills of external advocates/search clerks and their bill
settlements.

B. Key Relationships

Internal:

- Reporting to the Sr. Consultant Legal.
- Liaison with all the departments on day to day basis.
- External:

- Interface with external advocates, external search clerks, on regular basis.C. Span of Control:

Target Industry: Real Estate

Mandatory : Minimum 5 years of experience in handling legal matters as a practicing Attorney-at-Law or in a corporate environment.

Gender: Male

Experience: 8 to 15 years

Job Location: Thane, Mumbai

Working Days: 6 days

Qualification: LLB

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
