**Job Summary**:

- The Production Merchandiser is responsible for managing the production process of garments from order receipt to delivery. This role ensures that the production is completed according to customer requirements, quality standards, and within deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and schedule production timelines, ensuring that all processes are aligned to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with the contractors to allocate resources effectively (manpower, machinery, materials) for optimal output.
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials (fabric, trims, etc.) based on the production requirements.
- Manage relationships with fabric and accessory suppliers and external vendors.
- Coordinate with vendors for the timely delivery of materials, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Monitor garment production processes to ensure that the product meets the required quality standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks at different stages of production, including pre-production, in-line inspections, and final inspection.
- Track and monitor the production process, ensuring that the garment production progresses as per the plan.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the production cycle, such as delays or quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, production timelines, and progress.
- Prepare and submit reports regarding production status
- Identify potential issues or risks in the production process and take corrective actions.
- Be able to work-with any last minute changes or urgent requirements as they come along

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Manufacturing, or related fields is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- At least 2-5 years of experience in garment production or merchandising in the fashion/garment industry.
- **Knowledge**:

- Strong knowledge of garment production processes, fabrics, trims, and accessories.
- Understanding of production timelines, material sourcing, and cost management.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- **Other Attributes**:

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus
