Role & responsibilities

  • Create griege demand based on forecast and order specific requirements
  • Provide griege end date for each orders to merchandiser and planner for each orders
  • Identify the production location of order in line with central griege purchase team
  • Prepare loom loading plan for In-house looms which has to align with capacity to get timely greige output
  • Track actual greige production vs. plan and take corrective action on variances
  • Coordinate griege fabric inward schedules with central griege purchase team to meet processing T&A
  • Ensure alignment between processing planning team and dispatch schedules to maintain the griege inventory levels
  • Review greige fabric inventory and share its consumption plan
  • Griege fabric rolling plan to prepare
  • Conduct daily/weekly planning meetings and report progress to PPC Manager/Head
  • Ensure proper data maintenance in SAP
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for lead time reduction and inventory management
  • Prepare daily/weekly greige production and allocation schedules based on order plans
  • Monitor loom status and assist in capacity loading
  • Track order-wise greige fabric availability
  • Coordinate with weaving team to ensure smooth material flow
  • Communicate status of greige fabric to merchandiser and process planning team
  • Follow up on delayed orders and report production bottlenecks
  • Maintain accurate greige stock reports
  • Update SAP systems with planning and production data
  • Prepare daily/weekly performance and variance reports
  • Ensure optimum stock levels and highlight shortages or excesses
  • Create mat codes through production and MDM team
  • Create production order as per griege fabric requirement for weaving, sizing and warping department
  • Keep track of production order and close them every month or after order completion

Skills & Attributes required:

1. Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of textile products, fabric types, and weaving processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP HANA

2. Attributes:

  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality of work assigned
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenges effectively
  • Ability to work with ease to meet deadlines
