A Continental Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking a range of dishes from different European cuisines, ensuring high quality, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards. They work under the supervision of senior chefs and are responsible for various tasks, including food preparation, menu planning, and quality control. Key Responsibilities:
- **Food Preparation**: Preparing and cooking continental dishes according to recipes and standards, ensuring proper presentation and maintaining food quality.
- **Menu Planning**: Assisting in developing seasonal menus, specials, and other menu items.
- **Quality Control**: Ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation, and monitoring food temperatures.
- **Hygiene and Safety**: Implementing and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen, including proper handling, storage, and preparation of food.
- **Team Management**: Supervising junior chefs, providing training, and mentoring staff.
- **Cost Analysis**: Assisting in cost analysis and review of ingredients and supplies.
- **Collaboration**: Working with other chefs and staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely service delivery.
- **Innovation**: Developing new recipes and menu items, and staying up-to-date with culinary trends.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
