**Schedule**: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM
**Reports To**: Logistics Manager / Operations Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Freight Broker** to coordinate and manage the movement of freight between shippers and carriers. Working early morning hours from **5:30 AM to 2:00 PM**, you’ll ensure timely pickups and deliveries, negotiate rates, and maintain positive relationships with clients and carriers. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and enjoys solving problems on the go.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Act as a liaison between shippers and carriers to secure transportation of goods
- Source, onboard, and maintain a network of reliable carriers
- Negotiate freight rates and ensure profitability on each load
- Schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient movement of freight
- Track and monitor shipments and provide real-time updates to customers
- Resolve issues or delays in transit, including coordinating with drivers and dispatch
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal transportation regulations
- Build and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships
- Use transportation management software (TMS) to manage orders and generate reports

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a freight broker, dispatcher, or in a logistics role (1-3 years preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with TMS software and load boards
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree a plus)
