**Position Summary**
- Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our organization's IT systems, including servers, networks, and related hardware and software.
- Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement necessary adjustments or improvements to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Lead efforts to implement security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access controls, to safeguard data and systems from cybersecurity threats.
- Manage and administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure the effective integration and management of third-party solutions.
- Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for the team.

**Requirements**:
**A**WS, Okta, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Google suites, Networking, Azure administration, Virtualization.
- Systems Administration: Proficient in managing and maintaining complex IT systems, including servers, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and virtualization technologies.
- Strong knowledge of system configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Networking: In-depth understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, etc.).
- Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for infrastructure deployment, management, and optimization.
- Security: Proficient in implementing and managing security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption, and access controls.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Virtualization: Competence in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) for creating, managing, and troubleshooting virtual environments.
- Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine tasks and streamline system administration.
- Hardware Management: Knowledge of hardware components and their configurations, including servers, storage devices, and network equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Experience with monitoring tools to track system performance, diagnose bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
