Chief of staff position reports directly to the CEO.

**Chief of Staff Job Responsibilities**:
**Strategic initiatives**:

- Acts as a strategic advisor to the CEO, helping them identify priorities, strategically align their time with these priorities, and revisit these regularly to assess progress.
- Ensure focus on strategic initiatives of the organizations so that they are not lost on urgent and daily transactions. Drive time management for the CEO around these areas of focus
- Act as a key thought partner, brainstorming & identifying solutions to challenges.
- Manage a variety of long-term, cross-organizational projects/ programs that are part of our strategic initiatives
- Lead and partner on special projects for areas which the CEO personally oversees (or has a keen interest)
- Participates with the CEO and senior management team in strategic planning, policy development, and decision-making.
- Identify risks associated with the strategic initiatives and mitigate them

**Drive OKR mandate**:

- OKR’s are used to drive alignment, focus, agility and business rhythm to achieve our strategic and business goals. You should be able to use our OKR framework and tool to enable the CEO
- Identify risks associated with goals for the CEO and bring them front and center to find mitigation plans and support the CEO in implementing them.
- Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the CEO.
- Determines key performance indicators related of leadership team and keep the CEO informed with the progress on those KPI’s including raising red flags or identifying risks

**Accountability Partner**:

- Act as an Accountability partner to the CEO to ensure all commitments of the CEO are met in time.
- Create a structure for our CEO to improve visibility with and accountability of their direct reports.
- Manage the accountability and consequences system to drive a 3 strike rule to enforce accountability
- Develop high quality processes to improve how we operate company-wide (in collaboration with Ops and Sls)
- Create content for internal and external purposes (company presentations, investors presentations, external interviews and appearances, key mtgs etc.).
