A behavior support staff member is responsible for assisting individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges by implementing personalized behavior intervention plans (BIP), providing direct support in daily activities, and managing challenging behaviors in a safe and positive manner, often working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the client's overall well-being. Key responsibilities may include: Implementing behavior plans: Actively carry out individualized behavior interventions outlined in the client's BIP, including positive reinforcement strategies, redirection techniques, and de-escalation methods. Direct support with daily living skills: Assist with activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, community outings, and other daily tasks. Observing and documenting behavior: Monitor client behavior, accurately record data on behavioral occurrences, and communicate observations to the behavior analyst or treatment team. Crisis intervention: Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors, including managing aggressive or disruptive behavior using de-escalation techniques. Communication and collaboration: Maintain open communication with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care. Providing feedback and training: Participate in staff meetings to discuss client progress, share best practices, and receive ongoing training on behavior management strategies.

Pay: ₹15,628.98 - ₹52,077.50 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week
