Key Responsibilities:
1. Legal Advice and Consultation

Provide clients with accurate advice on immigration laws, policies, and procedures.

Assess client eligibility for immigration programs, visas, work permits, and residency.

Develop tailored legal strategies to address client needs.

2. Advocacy and Representation

Represent clients in immigration hearings, interviews, and appeals.

Advocate for clients facing deportation, detention, or removal proceedings.

Liaise with government agencies, including immigration departments, consulates, and courts.

3. Application and Documentation Assistance

Draft legal documents, affidavits, and responses to requests for evidence (RFEs).

Ensure all submissions meet legal standards and deadlines.

4. Case Management

Manage multiple client cases simultaneously while ensuring quality and accuracy.

Maintain organized case files and monitor case progress.

Provide clients with regular updates on case status and outcomes.

5. Research and Compliance

Conduct legal research on immigration laws, precedents, and policies.

Stay updated on changes in immigration regulations and their implications.

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international immigration laws.

6. Client Advocacy and Support

Address client concerns and provide solutions to legal challenges.

Offer compassionate support to clients dealing with sensitive or urgent situations.

Educate clients about their rights and responsibilities under immigration law.

Experience

Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in immigration law, advocacy, or advisory roles.

Proven track record of handling complex immigration cases.

**Skills**:
Strong analytical and legal research skills.

Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

Negotiation and advocacy skills to represent clients effectively.

Proficiency in legal software and case management tools.

Licensing

Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Strong interpersonal and client management skills.

Work Environment:
Office-based with occasional travel for hearings, client meetings, or immigration interviews.
