Overall handling of all production & associated activities pertaining to paper,

paperboard & micro fluted cartons including Production Planning, Design & Pre press,

Tool procurement etc.

**Responsibilities**:
Production Planning

End to end Planning of each job including raw material consumable procurement plan,

printing to finishing job scheduling, keeping in view of FCDD & customer delivery

schedules.
- Ensuring line balancing to avoid bottlenecks
- Target based job sheet preparation for each individual line & machine
- Co-ordinate, analyze & highlight to Superiors about key issues like job loading

including less or higher booking in key segments like liner, window, micro flute

etc.

Design & Pre Press
- Monitoring of day to day activities of Design & Pre-Press department
- Prepare, document, implement, train & follow up of activity wise SOP & WI for

smooth & error free functioning of department
- Tools (Die, block, Plate) Consumption analysis against respective Impression

from ERP
- Analysis, Review & finding ways for Improvement in Tool life (i.e. increase in

nos. of impression /Tool)

Process Improvement
- Study SOP, WI, Formats, records etc. of each Process, function & suggest for

improvements which include revision of documents, training, implementation &
follow up till effectiveness achieved.
- Study, Analyze & Co-ordinate for Process Improvement activities through

Kaizen, QC Circle Six Sigma, 7 QC tools etc. in Production, Wastage, cost &
Quality category.

**Responsibilities**:
Product development
- Co-ordinate with Marketing Department for each new kind of job for smooth

function at every step of processing.
- Ensure strict advance planning for every new customer
- Co-ordinate with Marketing, Prepress & other Concerned Departments to

improve processing efficiency with major/minor change in job’s substrate/

surface finish/die cutting/ Pacing etc.
- Overall responsibility of production & associated activities of paper, paper

board & micro fluted cartons.
- Initiation of “Target based Production Project” at all machines and linking the

output with PBP
- Effective implementation of CLIT based Maintenance activity of every machine

to minimize breakdown with greater smooth machine running visibility.
- Plan to make Internal rejection down to zero due to improper planning,

incorrect input etc.
- Complete utilization of every production related function of ERP with correct

data entry and to fetch Maximum reports for Process improvements.
- Study, analyze and standardize Manpower deployment at each Machine,

Emphasize on optimum man power with Maximum production output.
- Analysis of Major Consumables like blankets, Aqueous & UV Varnish, Films,

adhesives, CITO Matrix, Karat & Starch based gum to standardize consumption

& devise mechanism for continuous monitoring & control.

**Experience**:
