Counselors meet with clients to identify problems—emotional, mental, and behavioral—in their lives. Through observation, interviews, and tests, the counselor will diagnose any existing or potential disorders. Then, together with the client, they formulate a program of treatment according to the client’s needs. Counselors monitor the client’s progress on a regular basis to ensure that their needs are met by the course of action and to adjust it if necessary.

On the job, counselors:

- Identify psychological, emotional, or behavioral issues
- Diagnose psychological, emotional, or behavioral disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans and therapeutic processes
- Help clients define goals and plan action to achieve personal, social, educational and vocational development and adjustment
- Monitor client progress through regular meetings or sessions
- Conduct workshops
- Write blogs and articles

**CTC**: Our counselors are paid a fixed stipend.

**Skills Expected**:All counselors are expected to have

1. A minimum of a diploma or degree in psychology

2. Excellent spoken communication skills (English and Malayalam)

3. Excellent written communication in English

4. Computer literate, MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

5. Nurturing nature, empathy, and a desire to help other

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000 per month

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
