and sustainable. We engage in partnerships that span government, academic institutions, civil

society, and communities to advance policies and practices that prioritize health, animal welfare,

and environmental sustainability. Our work also includes "Food and You", an initiative aimed at

promoting plant-forward diets and consumer awareness campaigns that encourage a shift towards

sustainable and ethical food choices. This campaign engages consumers, policymakers, and

influencers to create a ripple effect of positive change across society.

Mission of the Role

As the Partnerships and Campaigns Associate, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Samayu’s

partnership strategies while coordinating the Food and You campaign. You will collaborate with a

wide range of stakeholders to promote Samayu’s mission and ensure effective campaign execution.

**Responsibilities**

Partnerships
- Build and manage partnerships across sectors (health, environment, farmers, policy,

academia, and grassroots organizations) to support Samayu’s goals.
- Foster engagement and collaboration by regularly liaising with partners, identifying

opportunities for joint action, and ensuring continuous alignment with Samayu’s mission.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication pathways between Samayu and its partners,

including documentation, follow-up calls, and reports.
- Develop high-quality materials, reports, and pitches to onboard and maintain partner

relationships.
- Represent Samayu at key events, coalitions, and networks as required.

Campaign Coordination: Food and You
- Coordinate the Food and You campaign, ensuring its smooth execution across digital,

community, and policy advocacy initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to advance the goals of the campaign, particularly promoting

plant-forward diets and food system transformation.
- Monitor campaign progress, measure impact, and report regularly to leadership on key

performance indicators.
- Collaborate with communications teams to create materials and outreach strategies that

resonate with the target audience.
- Support the design of campaign strategies to expand Samayu’s influence and reach, while

aligning with broader organizational objectives.

Additional Responsibilities
- Contribute to the growth of Samayu by supporting initiatives in fundraising,

communications, and organizational development.
- Assist in supporting other staff and volunteers to ensure effective collaboration and delivery

on projects.
- Ensure compliance with project budgets and timelines.

Eligibility and Skills
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in partnerships, campaign coordination, or

project management, preferably within the fields of food systems, animal welfare, or

environmental sustainability.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., food systems, public

health, environmental studies, social sciences).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to

influence and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work

independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work well in teams, take initiative, and build relationships

across sectors.
- Campaign Experience: Prior experience coordinating public campaigns or consumer

advocacy projects is highly desirable.
- Commitment: A passion for driving systemic change in food systems, animal welfare, and

environmental sustainability.
