**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Maintenance Planning & Execution**:

- Plan and schedule routine maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors, crushers, grinders, evaporators, and packaging machinery.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to avoid equipment breakdowns and improve overall plant efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and repair or replace faulty components.
- **Equipment & System Management**:

- Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of plant equipment, ensuring it meets safety and production standards.
- Implement modifications and upgrades to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including parts used, work completed, and future maintenance schedules.
- **Project Support**:

- Assist with the installation of new machinery, equipment, or electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to resolve complex issues affecting plant operations.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines and environmental regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures to reduce hazards in maintenance operations.
- **Troubleshooting**:

- Quickly identify faults and breakdowns in mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, diagnosing the cause of failure.
- Conduct repairs efficiently, minimizing production downtime.
- Provide emergency repair services during unexpected equipment failures.
- **Team Coordination**:

- Supervise maintenance staff or external contractors during maintenance activities.
- Train operators and junior engineers in safe, efficient maintenance practices.
- Collaborate with the operations and production teams to ensure mínimal disruption during maintenance periods.
- **Energy Management**:

- Monitor energy consumption of electrical systems and identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Implement cost-saving measures and optimize energy usage within the plant.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Prepare detailed maintenance reports, outlining issues, repairs, and recommendations.
- Track inventory levels of spare parts and order replacements when needed.

**Required Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment (salt or chemical industries are a plus).
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems (motors, PLCs, circuit breakers, hydraulic systems, etc.).
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques and condition monitoring.
- **Problem-solving**: Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues quickly.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
- **Safety Awareness**: Knowledge of industrial safety standards and practices.
- **Computer Skills**: Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily working on-site in a factory or production environment.
- Occasional overtime and emergency on-call duties may be required.
