**JOB TITLE**: Front office Supervisor

**GRADE**: E-4

**DEPARTMENT** : Front Office

**RESPONSIBLE TO**: Front Office Manager Duty Manager

**JOB SUMMARY***:
To ensure rooms are pre blocked as per reservation, Guest preferences are attended, all amenities are placed as per set standards prior to arrival and the check in taken smoothly and efficiently.

**General Responsibilities**:
Ø To abide by the mission Statement

Ø To abide by the values and rules of the hotel

Ø To portray a friendly neat and pleasant image to guests

Ø To execute all the service with utmost courtesy

Ø To block rooms as per arrival list and announce to housekeeping

Ø To ensure placement of amenities and personalized stationers in blocked rooms as per the guest status

Ø To escort guests to rooms on check in and explain all the facilities provided

Ø To update on guest profile

Ø To collect feedback guest comments from guests

**Established Duties**:
Ø To block rooms as per Guest Satisfaction and ensure all amenities are placed before his arrival

Ø Should know all long staying Guests, be aware of their preferences and take extra care of them

Ø To pay courtesy calls during Guests on local sight seeing areas and shopping facilities when required

Ø Should be able to advice Guests on local sight seeing areas and shopping facilities when required

Ø Should make reservation of table in restaurant of Guest choice

Ø To arrange airport transfer as well as day use cars with the travel desk

Ø To reconfirm airline tickets of guest as per request

Ø To receive, check in escort Guest to their rooms as per standard operating procedures

Ø Should be conversant with the different facilities provided in the rooms

Ø Should have complete knowledge about hotel facilities such as restaurants, ticketing, shopping areas, banqueting facilities etc

Ø To ensure all fixtures in rooms in good working conditions

Ø To check if rooms are blocked as per guest preferences like: Atrium facing ,close to the elevator, away from the elevator etc

**Sales and Marketing**:
Ø To upsell the next category of rooms while taking a reservation or suites during check in of guests

Ø To suggest different F B outlets for dining to guests

Ø To promote business center facilities to Guests in case of W/I FITS

**Eco green and Cost control Responsibilities**:
Ø To follow energy conservation methods

Ø To follow three bin rule religiously for recycling of paper

Ø To follow water conservation methods

Ø To follow and educate eco
- methods to other fellow friends and acquaintances

Ø To follow the Ecotel Manual
