The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the front desk team. This includes supervising the check-in and check-out processes, managing guest interactions, ensuring efficient guest services, and maintaining a smooth workflow in the front office area. The Front Office Supervisor plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while ensuring high standards of service, accuracy, and hospitality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision & Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and lead front desk agents, guest services staff, and other front office personnel.
- Train, motivate, and develop front office staff to meet company standards.
- Schedule shifts and ensure proper coverage of the front desk at all times.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- **Guest Service Management**:

- Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Resolve guest complaints or concerns promptly, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a positive, helpful attitude with guests, offering information about hotel amenities and services.
- Ensure that guest requests and special requirements are met in a timely and courteous manner.
- **Operations & Procedures**:

- Ensure all front office procedures are followed in accordance with company standards.
- Oversee the handling of cash, credit cards, and billing procedures.
- Monitor room availability and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room status updates.
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure the confidentiality of guest information.
- **Communication & Coordination**:

- Act as a liaison between the front desk and other hotel departments, ensuring seamless communication.
- Ensure that important information (e.g., VIP guests, special requests, maintenance issues) is communicated to appropriate staff.
- Participate in daily or weekly departmental meetings to discuss issues, updates, and performance.
- **Inventory & Supplies**:

- Monitor front desk supplies and materials, ensuring they are stocked and readily available.
- Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including health and safety regulations.
- Ensure front office team members comply with company guidelines, ensuring high-quality guest service and hotel standards.
- Implement and enforce security procedures for guest and employee safety.
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Assist with guest billing, room assignments, and reservations.
- Handle administrative duties related to guest services, such as updating guest preferences and tracking guest issues or complaints.
- Maintain records related to front office operations, including shift logs and incident reports.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
- **Experience**: At least 2-3 years of experience in a front office or guest service role within a hotel or similar hospitality setting, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership position.
- **Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio, or similar systems).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
