Transport Executive

**Job Title**: Transport Executive
**Department**: Logistics and Supply Chain
**Reports To**: Facility Manager
**Job Summary**: The Transport Executive is responsible for coordinating and overseeing transportation operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective movement of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Plan and coordinate transportation routes for optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness Manage relationships with drivers, and other transportation partners Monitor route operations and resolve any issues or delays that arise during transit Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards Analyze transportation data and prepare reports on performance metrics Collaborate with other departments to improve transportation processes and reduce costs Manage transportation budgets and control expenses Negotiate contracts with transportation providers Implement and maintain transportation management systems Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies in transportation logistics Need to support end to end floor operations.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
4-5 years of experience in transportation or logistics roles
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and transportation management systems
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
**Preferred Qualifications**:
Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCMP, APICS)
Experience with route optimization software
