Vruksha International School of Montessori, a chain of authentic Montessori schools - is looking for a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team of Montessori Educators. In this role, you will be working closely with children who have special needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Job responsibilities of the chosen special educator includes:

- Assessing the child’s developmental stage
- Crafting Individualised Learning Plan for the Child
- Prepare learning materials catering to the child’s specific needs
- Observe and record child’s progress on a regular basis
- Monitor child’s behavioural patterns and arrange appropriate support as needed
- Manage classroom crisis and resolve conflicts gracefully
- Prepare child for transition to the next level
- Educate parents about the child’s (potential) problems and progress regularly
- Collaborate with other staff members amicably (e.g. Montessori Adult, Speech therapists, etc) to create holistic plans

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or a related field.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.

**Preferred Qualities**:

- A child centric mindset and a willingness to commit to a minimum of 3 years with us.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- An eagerness to learn and integrate the Montessori Philosophy into the learning environment.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in building strong, supportive relationships with children.
