**Experience: 1 to 2 years**

**The Role**

**- Manage the logistics operations End to End and coordinate transportation activities (Domestic and Import/Export).**
- Communication and negotiating skills and good knowledge of English as he would need to be talking with both customers and vendors on a global scale.
- Good knowledge and comprehension of marine industry, preferably from vendors or owners/management side.
- Experience in forwarding import/export and to understand the marine background of logistics and DOB process.
- **Good knowledge and understanding of the rules and regulations set by the RBI, FTP and the DGFT for Import-Export Dependencies and Clearances is essential.**
- Collaborate with Transporters and Freight Forwarders to secure the most cost-effective and efficient shipping solutions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate import/export documentation and clearance for movement of the cargo.
- Liaise with port authorities, customs officials, and other relevant personal to facilitate smooth operations.
- Address and resolve issues related to transport delays, damages, or discrepancies in collaboration with relevant parties.
- Monitor and follow-up with concerned to ensure on-time and accurate shipping document submission
- Negotiation with Shipping line, Transporter, Custom Agent, Freight Forwarder for the best suitable rates.
- Coordinate with Export market service team, CHA & freight forwarder for on time placement
- Monitor the movement of goods and ensure they are delivered on time.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to enhance cost efficiency
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues, disputes, and challenges in a timely and efficient manner.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Bachelor and/or Master’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- 1 **to 2 years of experience** as Logistics Executive in a similar role.
- Proven experience in marine logistics operations
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent time management, organizational skills with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Superb written and verbal communication.
- Quick decision making, problem-solving and ability to multitask.
- Open to travel (National and International)

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
