**QuickBooks Data Entry Clerk Job Description** - Job Overview_ We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented QuickBooks Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial records in our QuickBooks software to ensure accurate, up-to-date business transactions. - Key Responsibilities_ - Data Entry: Inputting financial transactions into QuickBooks, including sales invoices, vendor bills, bank deposits, journal entries, and other accounting transactions. - Record Management: Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks regularly, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date. - Reconciliation: Review and reconcile bank and credit card statements in QuickBooks. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies identified. - Vendor and Partner Communication: Contact vendors, suppliers, and partners to clarify invoices. Ensure all costs, terms, and invoice details are correct. - Report Generation: Generate financial reports in QuickBooks as required, providing insight into the company's financial status. - Audit Support: Assist with annual audit processes, providing necessary documents and data. - Data Backup: Regularly back up data to prevent loss. - Software Updates: Keep QuickBooks software updated and troubleshoot any issues. - Required Skills & Qualifications_ - Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent data entry skills. - Basic understanding of accounting principles. - Ability to handle confidential information. - Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask. - University degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. - Preferred Qualifications_ - Previous experience as a data entry clerk or similar position. - Certification in QuickBooks software.
