Maintenance Supervisor

**Job Summary**

Maintain the facility and the production equipment in a safe and operating condition by delegating work assignments to the maintenance engineer, technicians. Manage the routine maintenance and oversee emergency unplanned repairs on all electrical and mechanical equipment on the premises.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Ensure that company policies and procedures are being enforced and adhered to at all time
- Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation and establishment of goals and objectives for the department.
- Manage budget and expenditures
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV HSE policies and procedure.
- Work with production department for the machine availability for preventive maintenance.
- Monitor and measure departmental KPI’s
- Oversee emergency/unscheduled

**Facility/Group Specific Responsibilities**
- Schedule and assign repairs of production equipment and facilities to maintenance technicians.
- Responsible for the development and effective implementation of the Preventive Maintenance program at his/her assigned facilities.
- Employee shall direct and coordinate the efforts of employees, component materials and equipment to ensure the maintenance group operates in a smooth, safe and productive manner.
- Employee shall provide direct assistance, as required.
- Employee shall establish and administer safety and job training programs to ensure various maintenance operations are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Employee shall maintain necessary quantities of consumable maintenance items as well as initiating/approving purchase requests for special items required to keep the manufacturing equipment in good working order.
- Responsible for the upkeep of all manufacturing and utility equipment.
- Responsible for weekly scheduling and timecard approval of all maintenance direct reporters.
- Responsible for all aspects of training of maintenance personnel.
- Responsible for controlling department budget and expenses

**Education & Experience Qualifications**
- Diploma with 8-10 years or B.E with 6-8-year experience in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3-year experience for supervisor role in maintenance.
- Work experience in building and manufacturing machinery maintenance experience in CNC machine tools and utility equipment like Cranes, Compressor, DG set etc.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic site prints and schematics
- Employee should be able to administer safety programs for all employees in his/her department.
- Strong communication in English (Both Verbal and Written)
- Strong time management and analytical skills.
