Hse Business Partner

- Your key responsibilities:

- Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Leads the HSE function in a small/medium country or mono platform site, ensuring site compliance with Novartis HSE documents and legal requirements.
- Build a strong relationship with the business and establishing effective governance mechanisms to promote collaboration and service efficiency.
- Member of the Site Leadership team acting as a role model in HSE and ensuring alignment between the global HSE policies and the local needs.
- Establishes and maintains a strong communication network between site.
- Act as strategic lead in his scope, collects and verifies the site/country HSE data provided to the global HSE team.
- Strong management of the risk portfolio. Ensures timely reporting and escalation of incidents at site level and right quality CAPA implementation at site level.
- Leads root cause investigations and lessons learned sharing of incidents at site level.
- Develop HSE capabilities in the line managers and coach them to act as point of contact for HSE issues and identify, develop and retain talent, providing strong succession plans and development opportunities.

**Minimum requirements**
- What you’ll bring to the role:
- Overall relevant work experience of approx. 10+ years, ideally at multi-national organizations, with knowledge and work experience in HSE.
- 2-3 years of experience in process safety; Industrial hygiene, HSE regulations compliance including international HSE regulations e.g. Reach; GHS, HSE risk assessment tools HazOp study; HSE management system
- 5-8 years’ work experience as HSE head or lead working at Chemical manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries at site.
- M.Sc / M.Tech (Fulltime)
- Post graduate advanced diploma in industrial safety (Fulltime).

Desirable:
- University degree in safety engineering, safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, occupational health and/or medicine, engineering, or related field. Master’s degree in above-mentioned fields is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of additional languages desirable.
