La Patisserie Affaire is seeking a passionate and dynamic Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting our bakery products, and ensuring an outstanding in-store experience. If you have a passion for French pastries, cakes, and desserts, and enjoy interacting with customers, this is the perfect opportunity for you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and assist with their orders in a warm and friendly manner.
- Provide detailed information about our bakery products, ingredients, and special promotions.
- Offer recommendations and upsell items to enhance customer purchases.
- Accurately handle cash, card, and digital transactions through the POS system.
- Assist with maintaining stock levels, replenishing displays, and ensuring the bakery looks attractive and inviting.
- Pack customer orders carefully and efficiently, ensuring the highest quality of service.
- Assist with online and phone orders, and coordinate delivery or pickup as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the sales counter and display areas.
- Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and new product suggestions.
- Assist with marketing initiatives, including social media posts, promotions, and special events when required.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
- Passion for baked goods and an understanding of French pastry and dessert offerings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Basic math skills and experience handling transactions.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
