**Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- **Chocolate Production**:
- Temper and mold various types of chocolate (dark, milk, white, ruby, etc.) to create a wide range of confections, including bonbons, truffles, bars, molded chocolates, and other specialty items.
- Develop and create new chocolate recipes and flavor combinations, incorporating a variety of ingredients such as nuts, fruits, spices, and liqueurs.
- Prepare fillings, ganaches, caramels, and other components from scratch.
- Operate and maintain chocolate-making equipment, including tempering machines, melters, and molding tools.
- Decorate and finish chocolates with artistic flair, using techniques such as airbrushing, hand-painting, and dusting.
- **Quality Control & Standards**:
- Ensure all products meet the company's high standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP, local health codes, etc.).
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies and assist with ordering.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and storage areas.
- **Collaboration & Communication**:
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to menu development and seasonal product planning.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and display of finished products.
- May interact with customers to answer questions about products and provide recommendations.
- **Continuous Improvement**:
- Stay informed about industry trends, new techniques, and emerging ingredients in the world of chocolate.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
**Qualifications**
- **Experience**:
- [Number] years of professional experience as a Chocolatier or in a related pastry/confectionery role.
- Proven experience with tempering, molding, and creating a variety of chocolate confections.
- **Skills**:
- In-depth knowledge of different types of chocolate, their properties, and proper handling techniques.

- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- **Education**:
- Culinary or pastry arts degree/certificate is preferred but not required with relevant experience.
