We are seeking a skilled IBM StreamSets Support Engineer to assist with daily operations and maintenance of StreamSets pipelines. The role is part-time and requires approximately 2 hours of support each weekday (Monday to Friday). This is a remote, freelance opportunity perfect for someone looking for flexible work hours.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide ongoing support for IBM StreamSets pipelines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot any issues or errors that arise in the StreamSets environment.
- Assist in the development and optimization of data pipeline processes.
- Perform routine checks and monitor performance to maintain system health.
- Collaborate with the team on implementing enhancements or new features.
- Document processes and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with IBM StreamSets or similar data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache Nifi, Talend, etc.).
- Strong understanding of data engineering, ETL, and real-time data processing concepts.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell scripting).
- Ability to troubleshoot issues with data ingestion, processing, and transformations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control tools like Git.
