A **Restaurant Captain** plays a key role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations, delivering excellent customer service, and leading the service team efficiently. Below are the key responsibilities:
**1. Guest Service & Experience**
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, escorting them to their tables.
- Provide detailed information about the menu, daily specials, and recommendations.
- Take and relay orders accurately, ensuring special requests are communicated to the kitchen.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and overall dining experience.
- Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.

**2. Team Leadership & Coordination**
- Supervise and support waiters, stewards, and bus staff in their daily duties.
- Assign tables and oversee service flow to ensure efficiency.
- Train new staff members in service standards, menu knowledge, and etiquette.
- Maintain a positive and motivating work environment among the team.

**3. Order & Service Management**
- Ensure orders are placed correctly and delivered on time.
- Monitor table turnover and coordinate table settings for incoming guests.
- Assist in billing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth operations.

**4. Cleanliness & Hygiene Compliance**
- Ensure tables are set up properly before guests arrive.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Ensure all staff adhere to hygiene and grooming standards.

**5. Stock & Inventory Management**
- Keep track of tableware, cutlery, and glassware stock.
- Report any shortages or damages to management.
- Assist in managing restaurant supplies and restocking as needed.

**6. Compliance & Safety Standards**
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies and food safety regulations.
- Monitor adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Handle emergency situations, if required, in a calm and responsible manner.

**7. Upselling & Revenue Enhancement**
- Recommend add-ons, beverages, and desserts to enhance the guest experience.
- Promote special menu items, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Ensure smooth coordination for large group bookings and special events.

Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
