You will be part of the FLSMIDTH Chennai team who are dedicated to implementing sustainable solutions for our customers. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in an international environment involving different cultures and different challenges.

Purpose of the role

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

- Perform Daily Bank Reconciliations.
- Prepare and post approved Journals from Local finance in ERP
- Perform month end activities i.e.. accruals, clearing bank open items, suspense accounts clearance.
- Perform fixed assets accounting and reporting.
- Perform Inventory Reconciliation and reporting.
- Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and analyses, research and clear Open items.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting of results.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to all local statutory and corporate policies.
- Intercompany reconciliation - follow-up, accounting, clearing old items.
- Prepare P&L Department/CC wise and ensure timely submission
- Substantiate financial transactions posted through review and audit of supporting documentation.
- Should be able to handle and coordinate with the onshore team on queries and other request raised.
- To act as Back up for some of the critical activities during team members absence.
- Support Audit and ensure timely response and submission of documentation to auditors.
- Prepare and support for the Monthly KPI Key Metrics for the GL process.
- Involve in automation and process improvement initiatives
- Updating of Process documentation.
- Support Multiple entities for Books closing.

What you bring
- Graduation/ Post-Graduate in finance and accounts which provides skills to understand financial processes. Preferably B.Com /M. Com/MBA in finance /CA/CIMA Inter
- 8-10 years of experience in general accounting.
- Good Skill in Bank Reconciliations, Fixed Assets, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Month closing activities and handle Multiple entities.
- Good quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience in Oracle and knowledge in HFM Reporting will be an added advantage
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Principles of financial accounting
- Time management
- Systems analysis
- Good knowledge in MS excel, Epicor10 or Oracle etc.
