Purpose of the role

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare and post approved Journals from Local finance in ERP
- Perform month end activities with respect to Projects and GL related
- Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations and analyze, research and clear Open items
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting of results.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to all local statutory and corporate policies
- Ensure that WIP Posting, allocation and accruals for Project are completed according to Schedule
- Ensure Revenues are recognized in a Period on time.
- Review and Control of Project WIP, Warranty and Remaining Provision
- Project Closing and Review of Back Log.
- Analyze and resolve any project related issue
- Substantiate financial transactions posted through review and audit of supporting documentation.
- Should be able to handle and coordinate with the onshore team on queries and other request raised.
- To act as Back up for some of the critical activities during team members absence.
- Support Audit and ensure timely response and submission of documentation to auditors.
- Prepare and support for the Monthly KPI Key Metrics for the GL/PA process.
- Involve in automation and process improvement initiatives
- Updating of Process documentation.
- Support Multiple entities for Books closing GL and Projects

What you bring
- Graduation/ Post-Graduate in finance and accounts which provides skills to understand financial processes. Preferably B.Com /M. Com/MBA in finance /CA/CIMA Inter
- 8-10 years of experience in general accounting.
- Good Skill in Balance Sheet reconciliations, Month closing activities both GL and Project Accounting.
- Good quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience in Epicor and knowledge in HFM Reporting will be an added advantage
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Principles of financial accounting
- Time management
- Systems analysis
- Good knowledge in MS excel, Epicor/Oracle etc
