**JOB TITLE**:Subject Matter Expert**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Verifies and reviews details (both sending and receiving) of intercompany requests received
- Determines appropriate Intercompany accounting details (e.g. GL accounts, Project code, Transaction Type, Tax Code etc.), when required
- Posts Intercompany journal entries on both sides for cross-company enabled locations and to one location if not cross-company enabled
- Works with appropriate accounting and ITcontact persons for Intercompany transactions not going through the ERP
- Monitors pending Intercompany requests (either Sending or Receiving) and provides status updates to parties who will need to action such requests
- Prepares accruals for recurring transactions and unbilled transactions
- Ensures timely expense recognition (on both sides) for year-end Intercompany related accruals
- Performs preliminary and final Intercompany reconciliations for all locations
- Resolves intercompany reconciling items (exceeding the threshold) within month-end reporting timelines
- Resolves intercompany reconciling items (below the threshold) within a two-month time frame.
- Coordinates with Treasury for any settlement requirements
- Prepares tracker for payments and collections relating to Intercompany
- Perform any other ad hoc tasks as required.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION & SKILLS**:

- Semi qualified Chartered Accountant / ICWA (Cost Accountant) / Postgraduate in Accounting & Finance is recommended.
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience as a financial accountant, IC Accounting or similar is recommended.
- Excellent social and communication skills.
- Advanced level on Microsoft Office (Excel - Pivot Tables, Word and PowerPoint).
- Adherence to deadlines to work on own initiative a requirement.
- Technical accounting knowledge in Oracle fusion.
- Works effectively under pressure.
