**Job Title: Hostess**

**Job Overview**:As a hostess, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing them with a warm and inviting atmosphere as they enter the establishment. Your primary role is to greet guests, assist with seating arrangements, and manage the flow of guests in accordance with the establishment's guidelines. Your excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail will contribute to creating a positive and memorable experience for all patrons.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Greeting and Seating**:Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor as they arrive.
Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus.
Maintain awareness of table availability and plan seating accordingly.

**Reservation Management**:Manage reservations, ensuring accurate guest counts and special requests.
Coordinate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a smooth seating process.

**Customer Service**:Provide information about the establishment's offerings, including menu items and specials.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally.
Monitor guest satisfaction and take appropriate actions to resolve any issues.

**Guest Flow Management**:Maintain an organized and efficient waiting list during peak hours.
Coordinate with servers to ensure timely seating and service.

**Communication**:Effectively communicate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Notify guests of any wait times and keep them updated on their table status.

**Appearance and Presentation**:Maintain a well-groomed appearance and adhere to the establishment's dress code.
Ensure that the hostess stand and surrounding area are clean and organized.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Knowledge of the establishment's menu and offerings.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality roles is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and check calculations.
