**Position : Operation Coordinator**

**Industry - Manufacturing/Toys Manufacturing/Hard Plastic and Injection Molding**

**Responsibilities**

As an Operation Coordinator responsible for importing goods, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from international suppliers to your organisation or clients. Importing goods involves several key responsibilities and tasks that you need to oversee.

**Documentation and Compliance**: Ensure all import documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with the relevant customs regulations and international trade laws. This may include invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, and any other required documentation.

**Customs Clearance**:Work closely with customs brokers or freight forwarders to facilitate the clearance of goods through customs checkpoints. Familiarize yourself with import tariffs, duties, and taxes, and ensure all necessary payments are made in a timely manner.

**Logistics and Shipping**:Coordinate with shipping companies or carriers to arrange the transportation of goods from the supplier's location to your destination. This includes selecting appropriate shipping methods (sea freight, air freight, etc.), tracking shipments, and ensuring on-time delivery.

**Supplier Relationship Management**: Maintain positive and productive relationships with international suppliers. Communicate regularly to stay informed about order statuses, lead times, and any potential delays.

**Cost Analysis and Budgeting**: Monitor import costs, including transportation fees, customs duties, and other related expenses. Analyse spending patterns to identify opportunities for cost optimization and budget accordingly.

**Risk Management**: Identify potential risks in the import process and develop strategies to mitigate them. This may include having contingency plans for unexpected delays, supplier issues, or geopolitical disruptions.

**Regulatory Changes and Industry Updates**: Stay informed about changes in import regulations, trade agreements, and industry trends that could impact the import process. Keep your team and organization updated on relevant developments.

**Continuous Improvement**: Regularly evaluate and assess the efficiency of the import process. Implement improvements and automation where possible to streamline operations and reduce lead time

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
