This is a remote position.

We are looking to hire a talented **PostgreSQL Database Administrator with at least 4+ years of experience in developing and managing **PostgreSQL and SQL databases across various platforms.

**Location**: Hyderabad/Ahmedabad (Hybrid Model) | Can look at Remote options if need be

**Work Timing**: Be part of 24x7 Support Operations / shift

**Work week**: 5 days/week

**Role type**: Permanent/Full time

**Requirements**:

- To work with Engineering Teams (Performance, latency issues, etc).
- Estimate **PostgreSQL** and **SQL** database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
- Good grip on Linux Unix Commands for DB Operations is a must.
- Should have at least 1 year of experience on **AWS RDS.**
- Knowledge on **Oracle DB **or experience with** Level 1 Support is a good to have.**
- To work on database **migration**, **query optimisation**. Responsible for Query tuning and preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with product managers to make sure database code meets demand
- Communicate with front-end developers to define plain yet dynamic APIs
- Integrate and maintain database code in procedures, scripts, queries, and views
- Expertise in time-series databases
- Knowledge of message queuing, indexing, and high-performance data concepts
- Familiarity with data structure and algorithms
- Ability to write database queries and code while maintaining data quality, privacy, and security
