**Job description**
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Lead Generation & Prospecting**:
- Identify and generate leads through market research, networking, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients for solar project sales.
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, government bodies, and other stakeholders.
- Understand client requirements, provide tailored solutions, and address concerns.
- **Sales & Business Development**:
- Drive sales of solar power solutions for industrial, commercial, and utility-scale projects.
- Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets within specified timelines.
- **Project Feasibility & Technical Coordination**:
- Collaborate with technical teams to assess project feasibility and design optimal solutions.
- Provide clients with accurate technical and financial details of solar projects.
- **Market Intelligence**:
- Stay updated on industry trends, policies, and competitive landscape.
- Identify opportunities in renewable energy policies, subsidies, and financial incentives.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:
- Maintain records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in CRM tools.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management review.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA in Sales/Marketing or equivalent is preferred.
- **Experience**:
- 1-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the renewable energy or solar power sector.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Understanding of solar energy systems, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and EPC contracts.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
- **Soft Skills**:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- **Other Requirements**:
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
