**Job Title**: MIS Administrator
**Department**: Information Technology
**Reports To**: IT Manager/Director
**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **System Administration**: Manage and maintain the organization's MIS platforms, databases, and systems. Ensure all systems are operating effectively and meet the organization's needs.
- **Data Management**: Oversee data collection, storage, and processing procedures. Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with relevant standards.
- **User Support**: Provide technical support to users, including troubleshooting, training, and resolving system issues. Serve as the point of contact for system-related inquiries.
- **Monitoring and Performance**: Monitor system performance, generate regular reports, and analyze system efficiency. Implement improvements as necessary.
- **Backup and Recovery**: Ensure regular backups of data and system configurations. Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
- **Documentation**: Maintain clear documentation on systems, configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- **Security**: Ensure that MIS systems are secure, regularly updated, and compliant with relevant cybersecurity policies.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with IT and business teams to understand business requirements and suggest system solutions for enhancing efficiency.
- **Software Updates**: Install, configure, and maintain software updates and patches for MIS-related systems.
- **Compliance**: Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulations related to information management and security.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in MIS administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database management, system administration, and data security protocols.
- Familiarity with MIS software tools and platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, BI tools).
- Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages, and other programming skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
**Desirable Skills**:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), CompTIA Network+, or similar credentials.
- Experience with cloud-based systems and platforms.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position with occasional after-hours work for system maintenance or upgrades.
- May require occasional travel to other company locations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
