MIS & Strategy Executive - Insurance Broking

**Location: Andheri (West), Mumbai**

**Reports to**:
Head - Strategy & Operations / Director / COO

**Role Overview**:
The MIS & Strategy Executive will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and analyzing management information systems to drive strategic decision-making. This role will involve collecting and interpreting data from multiple verticals (Corporate, Retail, Claims, Renewals), preparing dashboards, identifying trends, and supporting the leadership team in business planning and execution.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**MIS Management & Reporting**
- Design, develop, and maintain MIS dashboards for business performance tracking (Revenue, Policies, Renewals, Claims, TAT, etc.).
- Collate and validate data from Sales, Operations, Claims, and Servicing teams for accuracy.
- Generate periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) reports for management review.
- Create and track KPIs across different verticals to measure team productivity and business growth.
- Maintain records for regulatory and audit compliance purposes.

**Data Analysis & Insights**
- Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities through data interpretation.
- Prepare gap analysis reports to highlight shortfalls and improvement areas.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis for strategic benchmarking.
- Monitor client acquisition cost, retention ratio, and profitability metrics.

**Strategic Support**
- Assist leadership in annual business planning and goal setting.
- Support strategic initiatives such as new product launches, cross-sell/upsell programs, and portfolio diversification.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of execution with strategic goals.
- Prepare management presentations, board meeting decks, and investor reports.

**Process Improvement**
- Recommend process automation tools for MIS generation and reporting efficiency.
- Standardize report formats and ensure timely dissemination.
- Work with IT team to enhance CRM / ERP / Insurance Broking platforms for better data capture.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in **MS Excel (Advanced)**, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau preferred).
- Understanding of **insurance broking operations** - products (GMC, Fire, Motor, Property, Marine, etc.), claims process, and renewals.
- Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data accuracy.
- Good communication skills for reporting insights to management.
- Strategic thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, or related fields.
- 2-5 years of experience in MIS, Strategy, or Business Analytics (insurance broking/insurance industry experience preferred).
- Knowledge of IRDAI compliance requirements is an advantage.

Pay: ₹11,895.94 - ₹31,042.97 per month
