Sourcing & Buying Merchandiser

A merchandise buyer typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices on merchandise
- Reviewing sales reports to track trends in consumer demand for products in order to adjust inventory levels accordingly
- Participating in inventory management to ensure adequate supplies of merchandise are available at all times
- Reviewing new products or product lines in order to determine whether they are likely to be successful with consumers
- Communicating with manufacturers, distributors, vendors, and contractors to coordinate production schedules and shipping needs
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers in order to secure new products for the store’s inventory
- Negotiating prices with vendors for new merchandise or supplier contracts in order to get the best price possible for the store
- Working with designers, merchandisers, and other members of the team to develop new product lines or update existing ones
- Reviewing sales data to determine what types of products are selling well in the store, and then ordering more of those items from suppliers

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
