The platform enables users to create property listings & upload them to various portals, connect with local real estate professionals, use the provided dashboard to obtain property valuation, compare the value with other properties, avail market analysis reports, fill federal/state disclosures electronically, connect with attorneys/escrow companies, and more. The company earns revenue by offering various monthly packages.

Houzeo is based in Manhattan, New York with offices in Charlotte, North Carolina (US) and Mumbai, India. Our founder is a finance, real estate, and technology veteran with an ivy-league MBA. We were showcased at the TechCrunch Disrupt Startup Battlefield in New York City.

The startup is already profitable and experiencing double digit month over-month growth. As we are building our brand, we are growing tremendously and launching new products to enhance customer experience and highlight partner services.

**Job Title**: Accounts & Taxation Executive

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Management**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- **Taxation**:

- Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with Indian tax regulations.
- Manage tax planning and strategy to optimize tax liability.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- **International Taxation**:

- Assist in managing international tax matters, including transfer pricing and cost plus accounting.
- Ensure compliance with international tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare documentation and reports for transfer pricing audits.
- **Transfer Pricing**:

- Conduct transfer pricing analysis and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations and guidelines.
- Assist in preparing transfer pricing policies and reports
- **US Tax Accounting**:

- Support the finance team with US tax accounting processes.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of US tax returns.
- Stay updated with changes in US tax laws and regulations.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or CMA will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably with exposure to international tax and US tax accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and regulations.
- Experience with transfer pricing and cost plus accounting is highly desirable.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Exposure to international tax, transfer pricing, and cost plus accounting.
- Experience with US tax accounting.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
