**About Lowe's**:
**Job Summary**

The **Intern, Finance and Accounting** manages financial processes, ensures compliance with accounting standards, and provides accurate reporting. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, analytical thinking, and knowledge of accounting principles in daily business operations.

**Key Responsibility**
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for sales, inventory, and cash accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial data from stores and e-commerce platforms.
- Process vendor invoices and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
- Drive process improvements and implement accounting efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and company policies.
- Assist with external/internal audits, preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with finance, retail operations, IT, and supply chain teams. Mentor junior associates and foster team development.
- Excellent Communication and articulation skills

**Experience**
- 4+ years of accounting experience (retail experience preferred) and Proficiency in accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and advanced MS Excel

**Education Qualification**
- Fulltime bachelor’s degree in relevant field
