The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and supplies required for the production of soft luggage products. This role involves sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to maintain inventory levels and support production schedules.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing and Procurement**:

- Identify and evaluate suppliers of raw materials, components, and finished goods relevant to the soft luggage industry.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Place and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels and assess needs to ensure that stock levels are maintained without excess.
- Coordinate with the stores team to manage stock levels, reduce waste, and optimize storage.
- **Vendor Management**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to foster long-term partnerships.
- Conduct regular evaluations of supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
- **Market Research**:

- Conduct research to identify potential new suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier correspondence.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performance as required.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations.
- Implement and adhere to quality control procedures to ensure the quality of purchased materials.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the soft luggage industry.
