**Job Title**:General Duty Assistant Nursing** (GDA)

**Job Summary**:*

The General Duty Assistant (GDA) Nursing provides essential support to healthcare professionals and ensures a smooth and safe environment for patients. The GDA assists with patient care, maintains cleanliness, and performs various non-clinical duties within the healthcare setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:*

1. *Patient Care:*
- Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Help patients with mobility, transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing staff.

2. *Support Services:*
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Prepare and serve meals to patients, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Handle and dispose of medical waste according to safety protocols.

3. *Administrative Duties:*
- Assist with the admission and discharge process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Transport patients to various departments for tests, procedures, and appointments.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and report shortages to the appropriate personnel.

4. *Communication:*
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information.

*Qualifications:*
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a General Duty Assistant from a recognized institution (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.

*Work Environment:*
- The role involves working in hospitals, nursing homes, or other healthcare facilities.
- May require working in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials; adherence to safety protocols is essential.

*Physical Requirements:*
- Ability to lift and move patients.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Manual dexterity to operate medical equipment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
