As a North Indian and Tandoor Chef, you will be responsible for:
**Food Preparation**: Expertly preparing and cooking a variety of North Indian dishes, including curries, kebabs, bread (naan, roti, etc.), and other tandoor-cooked items using traditional techniques and recipes.
**Quality Control**: Ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.
**Ingredient Management**: Monitoring and managing inventory levels of ingredients specific to North Indian and tandoor cuisine, including spices, meats, and dairy products, to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
**Kitchen Hygiene and Safety**: Adhering to strict sanitation and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
**Team Collaboration**: Working closely with other members of the kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service during busy periods.
**Training and Supervision**: Providing guidance and training to junior kitchen staff members, including chefs and cooks, to maintain a high level of culinary excellence.
**Customer Satisfacti**on: Consistently delivering exceptional dining experiences by responding to customer feedback and making adjustments to dishes as necessary.
**Qualifications**:
Proven experience as a Chef specializing in North Indian cuisine, with expertise in tandoor cooking techniques.
In-depth knowledge of North Indian culinary traditions, spices, and ingredients.
Ability to effectively manage a fast-paced kitchen environment and work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
