**Role Summary / Purpose**:
Travel to our customer locations in India and abroad to perform various installation and testing activities for power plants. The engineer should take care of safety procedures during installation and testing and be able to coordinate activities at the site, acting as a bridge between the client and TEFUGEN's technical team.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support during the repair and/or installation of boiler components at customer locations to ensure all safety standards are met and the integrity of the equipment is maintained.
- Provide technical support activities for power plants Testinglike Flow Measurement Test, Cold Air Velocity Test (CAVT), Clean Air Flow Test, GD Testing, etc.in Boilers, Duct etc.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed, reporting all safety incidents and near misses on a timely basis and maintaining the goal of “zero” lost time incidents.
- Collect technical data (Engineering drawings, Boiler operational parameters, etc.) from the client as required by the TEFUGEN technical team.
- Work closely with the engineering department to evaluate and design package offerings.
- Complete required reports, including Test Reports, Service Reports, Customer Call Reports, Expense Reports, and Time Sheets, on a timely basis in order to provide appropriate follow-up to customers, including accurate invoicing for services.
- Discuss and explain the Testing results with the technical team and Client.
- Suggest improvements to processes and procedures in order to improve customer response time and the accuracy of all data.
- Work to improve responsiveness to customers by being available to make sales calls, perform technical walk-downs, and provide technical solutions to customers that distinguish TEFUGEN’s proposals and capabilities.
- Maintain close working relationships with customers in order to understand the competitive marketplace and suggest plans / programs to leverage that knowledge to offer not only additional or improved services but also additional products for the benefit of customers and TEFUGEN.
- Support in-house manufacturing, when needed, by being available to supplement existing personnel to meet customer needs during peak periods.
- Ability to travel frequently from time to time, depending upon customer and company business requirements.
- Comply with Department Guidelines and Procedures in order to maintain appropriate standards of service provided to customers.

**Skills Required**:

- Fluency in English, Tamil & Hindi is essential.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good computer-related skills
- Good social and interpersonal skills
- Ability to study engineering drawing
- Knowledge in the assembly of components.
- Relevant technical background, including millwright, maintenance, engineering, and/or field service experience, product design, and/or rotating equipment.
- A solid understanding of the product/service offerings and customer base.
- Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with customers & employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Comfortable navigating the internet.
- Experience with servicing highly engineered equipment and products.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:
**Experience**:1 to 5 Years Experience in Field Engineering Services / Testing

**Education**: Diploma / B.E., / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering

**Industrial Type**: Energy / Manufacturing / Production / Machinery / Analysis or Consulting Engineering Company / Analysis Company
