Job Summary/Objective:
As the Format Innovation Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Dance Fitness, you will be responsible for leading the development and evolution of innovative dance fitness formats and programs. This role involves leveraging your expertise in dance and fitness to create engaging, effective, and cutting-edge classes that appeal to a wide range of participants.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the development and implementation of innovative dance fitness formats and programs
- Research current trends, techniques, and methodologies in dance and fitness to inform program development
- Design unique and dynamic dance fitness routines that blend various dance styles, music genres, and fitness principles
- Collaborate with fitness instructors, choreographers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm ideas and gather feedback
- Conduct pilot tests and trials to evaluate the effectiveness and appeal of new dance fitness formats
- Continuously iterate and refine dance fitness programs based on feedback, performance metrics, and industry trends
- Develop training materials, resources, and guidelines to support instructors in delivering new dance fitness formats
- Provide guidance and support to instructors on technique, cueing, and class management for new formats
- Stay informed about industry standards, certifications, and best practices in dance fitness instruction
- Act as a brand ambassador and advocate for the company's dance fitness programs at events, conferences, and workshops

**Requirements**:

- Extensive experience as a dance fitness instructor, with expertise in a variety of dance styles and fitness modalities
- Certification or training in dance fitness instruction from a recognized organization or institution
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing dance fitness routines and choreography
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Passion for dance and fitness, with a deep understanding of the physical and emotional benefits of movement
- Ability to adapt and modify choreography and routines to accommodate different skill levels, abilities, and preferences
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in dance, fitness, and instructional design
- Bachelor's degree in dance, kinesiology, exercise science, or a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience teaching dance fitness in a variety of settings, including studios, gyms, and community centers
- Previous experience developing and launching new dance fitness programs or formats
- Additional certifications or training in specialized dance styles or fitness modalities
